| Long time no update.
Good news guys.
I know that a lot of people have heard different things about the dress code next year(yes, it always comes back to the stupid dress code,) some people think we're gonna have uniforms......yeah right.
The truth is.....er, well, i'm not sure if its the truth, but its what the school said, so, believe at your own risk.....that the dress code is going back to normal next year.
Yay!
well, yay if its the truth.
I guess we'll just see.

| today i've come across an new-paper that had a story in it about interracial dating, and how more and more teens are dating people who are not of there own race. now for those who don't know me i'm in a interracial relationship and i find nothing wrong with it. And I get alot of flack from my famliy because of the color of my companions skin color. And it's really hard to hear things like that because i don't see a problem with it, i don't see "color" the way my famliy may. I look at the youth of today and i can't belive that racism is still among us. I know about slavery, and the deaths that happened hundred of years ago, but what does that have to do with how i choose my friends and the people i have feelings for. i just wanted to get all of yoiur guys input because i know that it's still there but i just here to say get over it, every humanbeing is diffrent just because there a diffrent "color" doesn't mean you should treat them any diffrent then you would some one that have the same skin color as you. but thats just how i feel. tell me how you feel.... | | |
| hello again people! As I was taking a break from my term paper, I thought an awesome idea for a topic for an entry! we haven't had anything controversial up here in a while, so i figured I'd put somethin, just to see how people reacted. Throughout this year i have started to realize that America isn't quite what i thought it was. its gotten to a point where i don't even say the pledge anymore. i mean, sure, i stand up and put my hand over my heart, but i will not lie and say that we are one country under god with liberty and justice for all. cuz we're not. Thats just my spin on it. and since i'm a total dork i will probably end up responding to this with a comment. cuz i don't want to get too one sided in this entry. but I would really love to know you guy's opinions about this. | Wow, Its been a while since anyone posted, so I figured I'd take the initiative(sp?) and post! well, since the last post we got a new principal, who seems pretty cool. she hasn't done anything about the dress code, but oh well. no one really follows it anyway. lets see............there was a Student Council meeting with the superintendent(sp?) on Tuesday. yeah, not much happened. just some crap about 'oh yeah, there are no race problems at our school'. wtf ever. but anywayz........................yeah, thats about it. post more when something exciting happens! | | |
